Job Title: Teaching Assistant – SEND
Reports to: SENDCo / Inclusion Lead
Responsible for: Supporting pupils with SEND to access the curriculum and make strong academic and personal progress
Start date: September 2026
Term: Permanent, Term Time Only
Salary: Ark Support Staff Scale – Grade 5 FTE £31,083 - £34,857

Job purpose

As a Teaching Assistant – SEND, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning and make strong progress across the curriculum.

You will work closely with the SENDCo, teachers and external professionals to deliver targeted support, both in the classroom and through interventions. You will play a key role in promoting inclusion, independence and high expectations for all pupils.
