We operate a 2 days on, 4 days off rolling rota, giving you a real work–life balance while still working a full-time contract.

Sleep-in duties required
Sleep-ins are an essential part of the role and are paid in addition to your salary at approximately £60 per sleep-in
Your Mission
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a constant, caring presence in the lives of young people. You’ll support them in their daily routines, celebrate their progress, and help them feel safe, valued, and understood.
What You’ll Do
- Provide personal care and emotional support to children, ensuring safety, comfort, and stability.
- Assist in the development and delivery of individual care plans.
- Engage children in educational, creative, and recreational activities.
- Maintain accurate records of care and progress.
- Communicate clearly with children, families, and professionals.
- Drive to various locations for home visits or community activities.
- Work closely with the team to review and improve care plans.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong communication skills.
- NVQ Level 4 (Highly desirable)
- Experience in childcare or working with children
- Confidence with care plans and person-centred support.
- IT skills for record-keeping.
- A valid driving licence (highly desirable)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Most importantly: a big heart and a calm, caring nature
