Trainee Accountant

You’ll work with a variety of clients, develop practical skills, and study towards AAT, ACA or ACCA with full encouragement from the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations and ledger updates
- Processing invoices, payments and expenses accurately
- Assisting with month‑end and year‑end reporting
- Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Helping with the processing weekly and monthly payrolls
- Communicating professionally with clients and colleagues
About You
- Proactive, organised and able to manage your workload effectively
- A collaborative team player with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Comfortable using accounting software and keen to learn new systems
- Looking to study or currently studying AAT, ACA or ACCA
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to build a long‑term career in accountancy practice
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
