We're re-launching our Eight Acres Health Club in Elgin as a fantastic community club - a great gym, pool, jacuzzi and saunas - and we need an Assistant Club Manager to help lead the charge.
The role
Working alongside the Club Manager, you'll be right at the heart of the re-launch. This is a pre-sale role, so you'll join ahead of opening to help drive the membership pre-sale, get the team ready, and open the doors. Once we're live, you'll be the manager's right hand - stepping up to run the club, lead the team and keep members happy. Refurbishment is in progress and we're aiming to open as soon as possible, with an immediate start available.
What you'll do:
- Support the membership pre-sale and help smash growth targets
- Help recruit, train and motivate the team
- Deputise for the Club Manager and run the club in their absence
- Deliver a first-class member experience every day
- Support safe, smooth operations across the gym, pool, jacuzzi and saunas
- Uphold standards, safety and compliance
What we're looking for:
- Supervisory or team-leader experience in leisure, fitness, hospitality or similar
- A confident, sales-minded approach - you enjoy hitting targets
- Someone ready to step up, take ownership and grow into more
- A warm, people-first attitude and a community mindset
- A Pool Plant Operator qualification is desirable - but if you don't have one, we'll put you through it
- A Pool Emergency Responder course is required - we provide this
