Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bakery Shop/Food Prep Assistant to join our passionate team. In this role, you will support daily bakery operations by assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help ensure our bakery continues to serve delicious products with exceptional quality.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety standards
- Prepare ingredients and packaging for daily sale, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Assist with customer service tasks when required, including packaging and product display
Requirements
- Experience in food production, food preparation.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food prep
