PAID HOURS: 9 hours per day
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Forge Wood, Crawley, starting Thursday 20th August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Directing and managing vehicle movements on and around the construction site.
Safely guiding delivery vehicles and plant onto and off the site.
Controlling site access and ensuring vehicles follow the correct routes.
Assisting with reversing vehicles and ensuring safe manoeuvring.
Maintaining a safe separation between vehicles, plant, pedestrians and site personnel.
Monitoring the site entrance and keeping access points clear.
Communicating effectively with drivers, site management and other trades.
Following all site health and safety procedures and instructions.
Wearing the required PPE at all times.
Reporting any hazards, unsafe practices or incidents to the site management team.
Helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Requirements
Valid CSCS Card.
Valid Traffic Marshal Ticket.
Previous experience as a Traffic Marshal/Banksman on a construction site.
Good understanding of construction site health and safety procedures.
Ability to confidently direct and control vehicle movements.
Good communication skills.
Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
Full PPE suitable for working on a construction site.
