Are you an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school?
We are recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to work across local primary schools in Manchester and Greater Manchester, with positions available from September 2026.
The Role
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and reach their full potential.
You may be supporting children with varying degrees of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, communication and interaction needs, speech and language difficulties, behavioural needs and other additional learning needs.
We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with SEN students is essential
- Experience supporting children with varying degrees of learning needs
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Patience, empathy and a calm approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to adapt support to individual children's needs
- Experience within a primary school or educational setting is highly desirable
