Are you an analytical thinker with investment expertise, looking for a supportive and inclusive workplace? We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join our team and help shape our capital market assumptions, support investment strategy research and implement investment ideas into portfolios.
Role Overview
As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in informing investment decisions to help deliver client objectives. This will involve inputting into the formation of strategic asset allocation, asset classes research and supporting the execution of investment strategies. You will work closely with colleagues and external partners, communicating your findings clearly and effectively.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining capital market assumptions, using macroeconomic indicators and market trends to support the research agenda.
Contributing to research on investment strategies, ensuring alignment with our Investment Beliefs and Responsible Investment Framework.
Producing independent, data-driven analysis of opportunities and their associated risks.
Supporting due diligence and monitoring of investment managers across the portfolio.
Assisting in portfolio implementation, considering constraints such as costs and liquidity.
Collaborating with the team to achieve business objectives and produce clear, concise reports for governance forums.
Helping develop and improve investment systems and processes.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in developing capital markets assumptions or building analytical models that can be used in forming views on the relative attractiveness of a wider range of asset classes
Experience in forming investment strategy views and conducting investment research, or a background in a discipline that brings relevant skills to the formation of investment strategy views.
Knowledge and experience of multi-asset investing.
Excellent understanding of the current the market environment and how this might influence investment strategy.
Relevant investment qualification (part or fully qualified) or equivalent education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Python & SQL analytical tools (although not essential).
Excellent organisational & communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge of risk management, fiduciary management and investment risk management would be desirable.
