We're looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Duty Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to take their first step into management or gain valuable leadership experience while developing their career in the leisure and hospitality industry.
The Role
As a Trainee Duty Manager, you'll work closely with the Site Manager and Duty Managers to learn all aspects of working within a busy leisure venue. You'll receive training and support to develop your management skills, gradually taking on increased responsibility for leading shifts, supporting the team and ensuring our customers receive an outstanding experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working in a leisure or hospitality environment who is ready to progress into a management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and help resolve customer queries professionally.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the centre to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
- Learn how to lead shifts and motivate the team to deliver excellent service.
- Assist with maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health & safety.
- Support staff training, coaching and development.
- Help maximise sales opportunities and contribute to achieving site targets.
- Assist with staffing, daily operational tasks and overall site presentation.
- Develop the confidence and skills required to independently manage shifts.
About You
- Experience working in a leisure or hospitality environment is essential.
- Looking to take your first step into management or develop your leadership skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for customer service.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- IT literate, with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Reliable, motivated and flexible, with the ability to work shifts, weekends and evenings.
- Keen to learn, take responsibility and build a long-term career with us.
