Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front of House & Bookkeeping Administrator to join our team! This vital role combines exceptional front desk management with accurate and efficient bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and financial record-keeping. As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you will create a welcoming environment while supporting the financial health of our organization through meticulous bookkeeping practices. Duties
- Greet visitors, clients, and staff warmly, managing front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and handle scheduling to ensure seamless communication flow
- Maintain a tidy, organized reception area that reflects our welcoming culture
- Manage accounts payable processes by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and processing payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Record financial transactions accurately within our accounting systems, ensuring all data is up-to-date and compliant with company policies
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare basic financial reports to support organizational budgeting efforts
- Assist with general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document management to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Xero is highly desirable
- Strong familiarity with bookkeeping practices focusing on accounts payable management
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with visitors and team members alike
- Ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or similar tools for administrative tasks
- Prior experience in front desk or reception roles is preferred but not required
