Total Metal Finishings Ltd (TMF) operates a substantial industrial metal-finishing facility in Bramshall, Uttoxeter.
Under one roof we operate:
Powder Coating Industrial Wet Spray Shot Blasting Chemical Pre-Treatment E-Coating/EPD Metal/Thermal Spray
We’re building a team of people who can develop across our different departments rather than being permanently tied to one repetitive operation.
You do not need to know every process.
If you’re already experienced in at least one of our core finishing processes and want to learn more, we want to hear from you.
What we’re looking for
You must have practical industrial experience in at least one of the following:
- Powder coating
- Industrial wet paint spraying
- Shot/abrasive blasting
- Metal/thermal spraying
- E-coating/EPD
- Industrial surface preparation or a closely related finishing process
We’re particularly interested in people who already have experience across more than one process.
We’ll assess what you can genuinely do and give strong people the opportunity to develop additional skills.
What will you actually do?
Depending on your existing skills and training, you’ll work across different areas of the TMF operation.
That could mean powder coating, wet spraying, blasting, preparing components, masking, jigging, inspecting finished work or learning another finishing process.
As your skills increase, so does your ability to move between departments.
We want to develop skilled industrial finishers — not people who spend years standing on the same job.
£3,000 attendance & performance reward
Good attendance and good performance matter to us, so we’re prepared to put money behind them.
You can earn up to an additional £3,000 per year, based on qualifying:
Attendance & punctuality Productivity Quality Waste control Safety & workplace standards
At £15.50 per hour your basic annual earnings are approximately £32,240.
Earn the full £3,000 reward and that’s approximately:
£35,240 BEFORE OVERTIME
And authorised overtime is paid at time-and-a-half – £23.25 per hour.
Hours
Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am–1:30pm
Your weekend starts at 1:30pm on Friday.
You’ll need your own transport
You must have your own car/reliable personal transport.
We’re based on Bramshall Industrial Estate, Uttoxeter, and reliable attendance is essential. Please don’t apply if you cannot reliably travel to the site for a 7:30am start.
