The Role
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Self-Employed Solar Surveyors to carry out pre-installation technical surveys on already sold solar PV systems across the North of England.
This is not a sales role. All appointments are pre-booked by our team, and your focus is purely on ensuring each installation is technically accurate and ready for install.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend pre-arranged site appointments at residential properties across the North of England
- Conduct technical surveys of solar PV systems
- Verify system designs against on-site conditions
- Agree plant/equipment locations with the homeowner
- Assess and confirm cable routes
- Measure roof dimensions accurately (from ground level – no ladders required)
- Identify and report any discrepancies or installation challenges
- Submit clear and accurate survey reports
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in solar PV surveying, installation, or a similar technical role
- Good understanding of residential solar systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional and confident when dealing with homeowners
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle required for travel between appointments
Pay & Benefits
