The role of Forklift Operative:
- Forklift driving at a recycling facility
- Handling waste including food waste
- General yard and warehouse duties as required
- Heavy lifting involved
The ideal Forklift Operative:
- Valid forklift licence
- Comfortable with waste handling including food waste — this is smelly and dirty work
- Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting
