We're looking for a full time Nursery Manager who is passionate about creating a nurturing environment and will play a vital role in shaping early experiences for children and young minds. Someone who is an exceptional, hands-on leader who can guide our close knit, dedicated team to deliver high quality care and early years education.
Brambley Lodge Day Nursery sits within the grounds of South Cave Primary School in beautiful surroundings, it mainly serves children who live locally or children of the parents who work close to the nursery. The majority of our children go on to attend the primary school on site. We're dedicated to supporting children to learn through play, we're passionate about outdoor learning and love being outside, we're blessed to be based within a nature rich environment and enjoy regular local outings to the park, the duck pond, nearby fields and pirate ship.
As Nursery Manager you will: -
Lead and Inspire; coach and mentor a team of practitioners to deliver exceptional childcare.
Oversee operations; Ensure the smooth running of the nursery whilst maintaining outstanding Ofsted and safeguarding standards.
Build Partnerships; Foster strong, trusting relationships with parents, carers, professionals from other agencies and the local community.
Drive Quality; Implement a stimulating, rich environment that aims to give every child the very best start in life.
About you:
Essential Qualifications; Minimum Level 3 in Childcare & Early Years Qualification
Experience; Previous experience in a Day Nursery Setting, preferably with some leadership experience, e.g. Supervisor or Assistant Manager role.
Knowledge; Sound knowledge and understanding of child development, EYFS statutory framework, safeguarding protocol and Ofsted requirements.
Skills; Excellent communication skills, decision making skills, the ability to motivate, lead and retain a happy team.
