Able 2 Care Ltd is recruiting experienced and reliable Care Assistants to join our growing agency team, providing high-quality support to care homes across Lancashire and surrounding areas.
Areas we cover
We are currently recruiting carers who are able to travel to shifts across:
- Preston
- Southport
- Blackpool
- Wigan
- Warrington
- Surrounding areas
About the role
As an Agency Care Assistant, you will work across a range of residential and nursing care homes, supporting residents with their day-to-day needs while maintaining dignity, choice, independence and respect.
Duties may include:
- Providing personal care and support
- Assisting residents with mobility and daily activities
- Supporting with meals and hydration
- Communicating and engaging positively with residents
- Completing appropriate care records and documentation
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments
- Reporting concerns or changes in residents' wellbeing
- Working effectively alongside permanent care-home teams
- Following safeguarding, infection control and health & safety procedures
Essential requirements
Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 1 year's experience working within a residential or nursing care-home setting
- Must be able and willing to travel to different care homes
- Good spoken and written English
- Reliable, professional and punctual
- Confident working within different care-home environments
- Able to follow care plans, policies and instructions
- A compassionate and respectful approach to supporting vulnerable adults
- Right to work in the UK

This is an agency care role involving travel between different care-home locations. Applicants looking to work in only one fixed location may not be suitable for this position.
