Role Overview
AB Metal Engineering manufactures and supplies metal components for industrial and engineering customers. The Metal Manufacturing Process Lead will improve production processes, quality, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and improve metal-production processes.
- Analyze manufacturing performance and production capacity.
- Establish process-control and quality standards.
- Coordinate engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Investigate production defects and recurring process issues.
- Develop efficiency and waste-reduction initiatives.
- Support equipment upgrades and manufacturing projects.
- Maintain technical production documentation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of metal manufacturing, engineering, or industrial production experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with continuous-improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of quality and production-control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant engineering or manufacturing qualification is advantageous.
Pay: £77,000.00 per year
