Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III to play a key role in designing, improving, and optimising advanced manufacturing processes across one or more facilities. In this highly influential position, you’ll help drive operational excellence by enhancing the manufacture and assembly of both new and existing Parker products.
This is an opportunity to make a real impact — from developing innovative manufacturing techniques and improving production flow, to leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, safety, and efficiency. You may also take the lead on the development and deployment of major capital projects.
Key Responsibilities

Design and optimise manufacturing processes for complex new and existing products, improving efficiency, quality, and output

Lead process improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing performance, material yield, safety, and cost reduction

Support engineering design decisions by recommending manufacturing concepts, specifications, and equipment solutions

Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple product or solution lines, maintaining robust and effective processes

Investigate quality issues and drive corrective action, helping to resolve problems and improve product performance

Develop and test advanced manufacturing methods, systems, and layouts to support operational excellence

Contribute to or lead large-scale capital projects, helping bring strategic manufacturing improvements to life
Essential skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for this position

Advanced engineering knowledge, with the ability to apply engineering principles across multiple solution lines

A disciplined, analytical approach to solving complex technical and manufacturing problems

Strong experience applying continuous improvement tools and methodologies, such as pull systems, process mapping, and JIT

Advanced knowledge of data structures and database programming

Experience working with CAD/CAM systems or other computer-aided manufacturing tools, along with standard business software and data analysis tools

The ability to develop new procedures and practical solutions to overcome manufacturing challenges

Confidence reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications

Advanced knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
