Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure a safe and healthy environment for our clients while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine the best course of action.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using safe and effective methods.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and the importance of regular maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up visits.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective pest management strategies.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of pest control methods and safety practices is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- A valid driver's licence is necessary for travel between job sites.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
