Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Keep work areas tidy and organised throughout the duration of each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting and decorating is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members.
- A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
