About the role
Courtcraft is a specialist UK contractor in the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of squash courts and timber sports floors. We work with leisure centres, schools, colleges, universities, sports clubs and facilities-management operators across the country.
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working alongside an experienced supervisor, you'll travel the UK maintaining and refurbishing squash courts and timber sports floors, including Junckers systems — the industry standard.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, travel and being part of a close-knit team. Full training is provided, so previous experience is a bonus rather than a requirement — the right attitude matters most.
Please note: around 70% of the work involves staying away from home during the week, so you must be comfortable with regular overnight travel.
What you'll be doing
- Cleaning, maintaining and refurbishing squash courts and timber sports floors
- Assisting with repair and refurbishment work on site - Travelling to sites across the UK with your supervisor
- Loading, unloading and caring for equipment and materials
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism on customer sites
What you'll need
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to work away from home regularly (around 70% of the role)
- Reliability, good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, flooring, trades or sports facilities is advantageous but not essential What we offer

Pay: £26,000.00-£31,200.00 per year
