Our Chemicals Department, VisusChem is located in Whittlesford and is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Production Technician.
This role requires the technician to carry out the manufacture of production batches as specified under our Quality Assurance System. The role handles mixing, blending and the curation of chemicals. The role entails manufacturing production batches, assisting with the maintenance and calibration of the plant, to ensure safe operation, consistent product quality and environmental protection.
We are looking for a candidate with prior experience chemical mixing and / or in a production environment. The successful candidate must have an understanding of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Quality Assurance Systems.
A strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills (including English technical language).
Whilst extensive training is given, we require a candidate who can be positive, proactive and a good communicator.
Within a 45 minutes commute from Whittlesford, as the role requires daily onsite attendance to fulfill the role.
Benefits:
Salary: Range DOE £29,000.00 - £33,000.00
Hours: 37.5 hours pw - 08:00-16:00 – Monday to Friday
Holidays: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
