We are seeking a professional and organised Dental treatment coordinator / Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries promptly
- Maintain accurate patient records and update databases regularly
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and correspondence
- Process patient payments and insurance claims accurately
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required
- Adhere to confidentiality and data protection regulations at all times
Skills
- Proven office experience, healthcare or dental setting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using computer software programmes such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and practice management systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
- Friendly demeanour with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Previous treatment coordinator / administrative experience working in Dental practice
Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
