Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, caring, empathetic, enthusiastic, and patient person to be a personal care assistant to a lady who is 40+ and who has learning difficulties.
You will join a small, friendly team of assistants, providing care in her own home in Lawford.
Duties:
You will provide support with personal care
Meal preparation and cooking
Support with outdoor and indoor activities
Assistance with household tasks such as cleaning
Managing a daily budget
There will be a requirement to drive to different places so a full, clean, driving licence is essential.
Experience with providing personal care is preferred but full training will be given.

You will be calm in pressurised or challenging situations and be able to prioritise tasks. You will be a good decision maker. You will be able to provide the right balance of care and support to the individual ensuring that her needs are put first and that she is able to maintain her independence.
You will be a team player and help the team to provide effective care to the individual. You will be willing to learn and adapt to different ways of working to suit the individuals needs. You will be comfortable with providing personal care such as bathing and going to the toilet.
You will have a good level of education and be proficient in English.
Hours:
You will be able to work various hours to ensure that the individual has support 24/7 (hours will be discussed at interview).
Pay: £14.00 per hour
