VWJ Earthmoving & Aggregates are a professional, family-run earthmoving and aggregate supply business based in Crewe, operating throughout Cheshire, Staffordshire, Deeside and the Northwest.
We operate a fleet of 8-wheel / 32 tonne gross tippers and pride ourselves on being compliant, reliable and professional.
We are looking for an experienced, dependable Class 2 tipper driver who takes pride in their vehicle and their work.
The Role
- Transporting clay, subsoils, aggregates and topsoil
- Delivering to construction, housebuilding and agricultural sites
- Varied daily work – not simply A to B trunking
- Completing all delivery documentation accurately
- Carrying out daily walk-around checks
- Reporting defects immediately
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness (inside and out)
- Communicating clearly with the office throughout the working day
- Complying with Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive
No nights out – all vehicles are day cabs.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience
- Previous tipper experience preferred
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- No drink or drug driving offences
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional and well presented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
This role suits someone who enjoys being part of a small, professional team and takes responsibility for their vehicle and conduct on site.
Working Hours
Generally can vary between 5:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Start times vary depending on workload.

- Full PPE supplied
- Holidays - 28 days including Bank Holidays
- Christmas shutdown (2 weeks & 1 day)
