Join our team as a Tanning Salon Assistant
Previous Tanning Salon experienced is required
Minimum hrs 9 per week guaranteed
Able to do last minute cover days off/holiday cover (during the week if needed)
Sat/Sun shifts could be 6/8 hrs (if needed)
You will assist clients with their tanning needs, ensure the salon operates smoothly, and promote a welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help clients feel confident and satisfied while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their visit
- Guide clients on tanning options, equipment usage, and safety procedures to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness of tanning beds, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Monitor equipment operation and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Promote salon services and product sales to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing client records efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry regulations for tanning services
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, approachable attitude
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and answer client questions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks
- Proficiency in English for clear verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail to maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and accurate record keeping
