ROLE OVERVIEW / DEVELOPMENT DETAILS
You’ll be based at Anthology Tottenham Hale Works, a striking 32-storey landmark of 279 contemporary apartments set within the award winning Hale Village. With a 24-hour concierge team and a sky lounge overlooking the Walthamstow Wetlands, you’ll work in a vibrant, design-led environment that blends city energy with nature on the doorstep. Just two minutes from Tottenham Hale station for fast Victoria line and Overground connections, this is a front-of-house role at the heart of a well-connected, thriving community.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will be the welcoming face of the development, creating a smooth, safe and polished experience for residents and visitors from first hello to final farewell. You’ll coordinate building activity, manage enquiries and deliveries, and keep standards high across the lobby, amenities and back-of-house. You will work a 4 on, 4 off pattern, 07:00–19:00.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Every resident and visitor is greeted promptly, professionally and by name where possible.
- The lobby, entrances and sky lounge present five-star standards at all times, with issues resolved before they’re noticed.
- Enquiries are handled on the spot or triaged efficiently, with clear updates and timely follow-through.
- Incidents, defects and maintenance needs are logged accurately and escalated early to avoid disruption.
- Safety, access control and GDPR standards are upheld without compromising a warm, human service.
- Productive relationships are built with residents, contractors and the managing agent, ensuring a joined-up operation.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Managing the front desk: welcoming guests, handling calls, emails and resident queries.
- Coordinating deliveries, key control and access permissions, maintaining accurate logs and reports.
- Monitoring CCTV, alarms and building systems, responding swiftly to incidents and emergencies.
- Carrying out regular lobby, perimeter and amenity checks; reporting and following up on defects.
- Scheduling and supporting contractor visits and resident bookings, including the sky lounge.
- Keeping handovers crisp and complete so the 24-hour concierge team operates seamlessly.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
- Front-of-house or concierge experience in residential, hotel or corporate settings.
- Working knowledge of access control, CCTV and basic building safety procedures.
- Familiarity with incident, defect and parcel management systems.
- Coordinating contractors and amenity bookings in a busy environment.
- Supporting operations in a high-rise or multi-amenity development.
