Job Summary
Join our historic tearooms as a Pot Washer, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety. You will sometimes be ask in assisting the front of house team to clear tables during busy periods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of a busy tearooms, supporting our kitchen/ Front of house staff and enhancing guest experiences through your diligent work.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, tea cups, utensils, and kitchen tools using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is in good working order
- Sort and organize clean items for proper storage or immediate use by kitchen/ Front of house staff
- Follow health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic workspace
- Assist with clearing tables during busy periods
