Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential support and guidance to children, fostering their development and well-being in a caring environment. Responsibilities
- Offer personalised support to children, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development
- Assist with daily activities, including organising games, educational tasks, and recreational outings
- Mentor children to build confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to create tailored support plans
- Encourage participation in group activities and foster a safe, inclusive environment
- Support children during transitions and help manage behavioural challenges in a calm and constructive manner
- Document progress and communicate effectively with team members regarding each child's needs
Experience
- Previous experience working with children is highly desirable
- Skills in mentoring and teaching are beneficial for supporting children's growth effectively
- A caring attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly within a team-oriented environment
- A genuine interest in supporting children's development and well-being

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,112.80 per year
