About the role
UKSV Creates is looking for a practical and organised Warehouse Technician to support the day-to-day running of our AV warehouse and help ensure equipment is prepared, checked, maintained and ready for live events.
You'll work closely with our technical and production team, taking responsibility for the movement, preparation and storage of AV equipment and supporting deliveries and collections.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with basic AV knowledge, a practical approach and a full UK driving licence. Previous AV industry or warehouse experience is advantageous, and training will be provided where required.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the movement of AV equipment in and out of the warehouse
- Preparing, testing, cleaning and packing equipment for events
- Carrying out basic equipment maintenance and PAT testing
- Identifying and reporting damaged or faulty equipment
- Checking equipment in and out and managing with stock control
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Loading and unloading cars, vans and trucks safely and efficiently
- Driving company vehicles for deliveries and collections
- Monitoring equipment requirements through the stock system and advising of any shortages requiring cross-hire
What we're looking for
Essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic knowledge of AV equipment and how it is used

- Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable
- PAT testing experience – training will be provided
- Basic fault-finding experience
- Knowledge of audio, video and staging equipment
- Previous AV warehouse experience
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
Previous AV industry experience is advantageous but not essential, and training will be provided.
Working hours
The role is normally five days a week, Monday to Friday, with usual working hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm and a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
As we work in live events, there will be occasions when the working day needs to vary to support event deliveries, preparations and productions. This may include earlier starts, later finishes, weekends or additional hours when required.
We’re looking for someone who understands the nature of the events industry and is comfortable with this flexibility.

This role will provide dedicated ownership of the day-to-day warehouse and equipment requirements, supporting the wider technical and production team.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
