We are seeking a forward-thinking Digital and AI Development Manager to lead the delivery of our digital transformation agenda. .
Working closely with the Senior Management Team, Trust IM&T, suppliers and operational teams, the post holder will lead a portfolio of digital projects, oversee the development and optimisation of business systems, and help shape the future digital roadmap for OPS. This includes evaluating emerging technologies, supporting data-driven decision making, enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities, and ensuring that digital investments deliver measurable benefits.
The successful candidate will be comfortable translating business needs into practical digital solutions and will have a strong understanding of governance, information management and change management principles.

Lead the delivery of the OPS digital transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational priorities and future growth plans.
Identify, evaluate and implement digital, automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, compliance, customer experience and business performance.
Manage a portfolio of digital projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, budgets, quality standards and expected benefits.
Work closely with Trust IM&T teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop, enhance and optimise business systems and digital infrastructure.
Support the development of advanced reporting, analytics and data-driven insights to improve decision-making, performance monitoring and service planning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing specialist advice on digital technologies, systems development and innovation opportunities.
Promote robust digital governance, ensuring all digital systems, technologies, automation and transformation initiatives comply with NHS guidance, Information Governance requirements, cyber security standards and Trust policies.
Monitor emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation and advanced analytics, identifying opportunities to safely and effectively support service improvement and organisational growth.
