Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ductwork hygiene technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking control and leading people on cleaning air supply and extract systems in a safe and professional manner, across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and ensuring optimal system performance, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic environment. This is a self employed role with a chance of employment for the rite candidate. All necessary equipment and transportation can be included depending on conditions.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain sytems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure efficient operation of supply and extract systems. using specialised tools and techniques, then document findings.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and any other equipment safely and effectively during site attendance.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to schedule work efficiently and communicate technical information clearly.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and system details for each site attended.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks during operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hygiene technician or a similar role in the industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialist quipment, essential for carrying out the tasks allocated
- Strong understanding of supply and extract systems.
- Relevant experience required in this field of work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
