Job Overview
We're looking for a highly organised, curious and proactive individual to join our growing consultancy as a Operations Coordinator.
This is not a traditional administrative or support role.
You'll work closely with the Head of Operations and leadership team to drive the firm's operational effectiveness, ensuring the business runs smoothly, efficiently and is positioned for growth. You'll be involved in almost every aspect of the business, from reporting, portfolio management and governance through to finance, people processes, technology, events and operational improvement.
We're less interested in finding someone who has done every element of the role before. We're far more interested in finding someone with the right mindset. Someone who is naturally inquisitive, eager to learn, comfortable taking ownership and confident enough to challenge constructively when something doesn't feel right.
If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and making a meaningful contribution to a growing business, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work closely with the leadership team and wider business to:
- Own and coordinate day-to-day business operations.
- Support portfolio management and business planning activities.
- Produce management information, reporting and business insights.
- Track actions, priorities and strategic initiatives through to completion.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial administration.
- Coordinate people processes including recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activities.
- Support business technology, systems and supplier management.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external events.
- Maintain governance processes, policies and business records.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and ways of working.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
You don't need experience in every area.
We're looking for someone with the attitude, potential and drive to grow into the role.
You'll likely be someone who:
- Takes ownership and follows things through to completion.
- Is naturally curious and asks thoughtful questions.
- Enjoys learning new skills and taking on unfamiliar challenges.
- Is confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
- Can challenge constructively and professionally.
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Spots opportunities for improvement rather than accepting the status quo.
- Is proactive and doesn't wait to be told what to do.
- Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions.
- Remains calm and adaptable when priorities change.
- Builds trust quickly and maintains strong relationships.
Why Join Us?
We're building a high-performing consultancy where people are trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas and make a genuine impact.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders, gain exposure across every area of the business and develop your skills in business management and operational leadership.
If you're ambitious, curious and looking for a role where you can learn, challenge and grow, we'd love to hear from you.
