ABOUT THE ROLE
The Programme Manager will operate across a range of technology portfolios to ensure the ensure the successful delivery of one or more strategic programmes within the Global Technology portfolio. These programmes will be large scale change initiatives delivering either significant business value or significant business change which support the continued growth and evolution of the Press.
The role will be responsible for embedding a programme governance framework to drive high quality delivery of structured business outcomes. The role will ensure the programme vision and benefits are delivered to quality, cost, and time. The role will work closely with technology services teams, partners and business stakeholders to ensure that outcomes are clearly defined, change delivered and benefits realised.
This programme manager role will be accountable for the delivery of key programmes in the web and e-commerce area and requires strong delivery and implementation skills in this area. The role will be accountable for planning at a programme level that encompasses all workstreams required to deliver the agreed programme outcomes. This will include both business and technology leadership and will include working with and holding to account both internal teams and 3rd party suppliers. The role requires a strong track record of building positive stakeholder engagement, cross functional planning and programme level planning and budgeting.
The role will collaborate with PMO and other stakeholders across the Press to ensure there is clarity of programme scope, an agreed delivery approach and strong governance to facilitate timely decision making. The role will be required to work with ambiguity to shape a structured delivery approach which realises business value.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
