We are seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join our property maintenance team, carrying out flooring installations and repairs within residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and replace sheet vinyl flooring
- Lay ceramic tiles and complete grouting and finishing works
- Fit cap and cove wet room flooring
- Prepare subfloors, including repairs, screeding, and applying self-levelling compounds
- Carry out flooring works in kitchens, bathrooms, communal areas, and void properties
- Update job progress using a PDA system
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floor Layer
- Skilled in sheet vinyl, tiling, cap and cove flooring, and floor preparation
- Basic carpentry experience beneficial
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication and IT skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Own hand and power tools required
