Responsibilities
- Operate various machinery and equipment involved in food production processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operation
- Follow strict food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures, to maintain product quality and safety standards
- Assist with the preparation and assembly of food items according to specified recipes and quality guidelines
- Conduct regular quality checks and document production data accurately using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to hygiene regulations at all times
- Monitor mechanical equipment, identify potential issues, and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by following standard operating procedures and safety policies
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP principles
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery used in food production is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, recording data, and performing simple calculations
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-moving environment
Working hours are between 6.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday (8 hour shifts)

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
