We are seeking a fun-loving, caring, and motivated Support Practitioner to work across all age ranges within our nursery. This role involves supporting children and working collaboratively with practitioners during daily routines and activities, helping to maintain continuity of care while enabling staff to take their scheduled breaks. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive, well-organised, and nurturing environment for both children and the wider team. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting children’s development through play, creativity, and meaningful learning opportunities.
- Creating a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels safe and valued.
- Observing and responding to children’s individual needs with care and professionalism.
- Being a positive role model, promoting kindness, curiosity, and confidence in all interactions.
- Building positive partnerships with parents and carers – we love open communication.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and the EYFS framework are always top of mind.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone with a little relevant experience would be preferred, but not essential.
- Someone caring, confident, organised – and ready to jump into muddy puddles when needed!

The Details
- Daily hours 9.30am - 2pm
- Monday to Friday
- 51 weeks a year
- Based at our Welby Lane nursery
- Interviews can be arranged at weekends or evenings for complete confidentiality
- Bank holidays off
- Christmas week off
