Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves analysing processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality assurance protocols to maintain customer and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform visual inspection to ensure manufactured components adhere to customer requirements.
- Inspect manufactured CNC components using Aberlink & Hexagon CMM machines.
- Inspect manufactured CNC components using various manual equipment such as digital micrometers and digital calipers.
- Collaborate with production & quality teams to address quality issues and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and documentation.
Skills
- CMM Operating experience (required)
- Strong understanding of Gd&t (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Day shift & Nightshift rotation
- Day shift 06:30 - 16:15 (Monday - Thursday)
- Night shift 21:00 - 6.45 ( Monday - Thursday)
- Shift allowance for nightshift x1.33 applied to hourly rate
- Overtime paid at x1.5, with the potential of 2x rate on nightshift
