Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician with proven experience in property maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, highly organized, and committed to providing a professional high quality service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential and/or commercial properties
- A multi-skilled approach to all works - the role is extremely varied
- Troubleshoot and repair, general property maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical works
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
- Ensure properties meet safety, health, and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed via tablet diary, materials used, and time spent
- Apply a professional approach at all times, whether directly with the client or tenant
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in property/building maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to read technical manuals, and work orders
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Physical ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform manual labor as needed
Preferred but not required:
- Basic knowledge of electrical or plumbing, or other relevant trade certifications
