MSK Physiotherapist
Location: Hagley Road , Birmingham
Salary: £29,970 - £35,000. Depending on experience.
Prime Physiotherapy Clinic is looking for a MSK Physiotherapist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive clinical environment where high quality care, professional development and positive patient outcomes are at the heart of what we do.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing appropriate physical examinations.
* Assess, diagnose and formulate appropriate physiotherapy treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
* Provide a range of physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation, mobility exercises and other appropriate clinical techniques.
* Develop personalised rehabilitation programmes and provide patients with suitable exercises and self-management advice.
* Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans where necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional and legal requirements.
* Identify and respond appropriately to clinical risks, safeguarding concerns and changes in patients' conditions.
* Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, rehabilitation plans and expected outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and make appropriate referrals where required.
* Provide advice on injury prevention, posture, movement, exercise and maintaining physical health.
* Ensure all treatment is delivered in accordance with professional standards, clinical guidelines and the policies of Prime Physiotherapy Clinic.
* Maintain professional knowledge through continuing professional development (CPD) and keep up to date with developments in physiotherapy practice.
* Support the effective day-to-day operation of the clinic and contribute to maintaining a high standard of patient care and service.
Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent recognised qualification.
* Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and treatment-planning skills.
* Good knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, rehabilitation and exercise therapy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
* A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and continuing professional development.
Pay: £29,970.00-£35,000.00 per year
