We seek an experienced and enthusiastic pupil support assistant with experience of supporting children and young people with complex additional support needs.
You will provide high-quality, nurturing support for an individual learner within the Intensive Support Provision at Coupar Angus Primary School, enabling them to engage successfully in learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
The postholder will work closely with teaching staff, families and partner agencies to meet the learner's individual needs.
You will focus on promoting inclusion, wellbeing, achievement and a sense of belonging within the wider school community.

We are seeking a caring, patient and adaptable individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional support needs.
The successful candidate will have experience of building positive relationships with learners, using nurturing and supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
Experience of working with children with complex additional support needs, autism, social, emotional and behavioural needs, or within an intensive support environment would be advantageous.
Candidates should be able to work effectively as part of a team, follow individual support plans, use their initiative when required, and maintain a strong commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and safeguarding.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, families and partner agencies are essential.
