About the Role
As a Resin Floor Fitter, you’ll be responsible for installing high-quality resin flooring systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites. Working as part of a skilled team, you’ll ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard. The successful candidate will have proven experience in resin flooring, including surface preparation, mixing, and application, with a strong understanding of site safety and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of resin flooring systems.
- Mix and apply resin materials accurately according to specifications and project requirements.
- Install a range of resin floor types, including epoxy, polyurethane, and decorative finishes.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and finishing.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment on-site at all times.
- Work closely with the site supervisor and wider team to deliver projects on schedule.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and materials handling.
- Carry out finishing touches, repairs, and maintenance of resin floors where required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in resin flooring, including surface preparation and application (essential).
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work on different sites when required.
Licences & Certifications
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- CSCS Card (required)
Desirable Skills
- Experience with PU screed and MMA systems (advantageous).
- Experience using floor preparation machinery such as grinders and vacuums.
- Understanding of curing times, temperature control, and material handling.
- Ability to read and follow site drawings or job specifications.
