Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Female Travel Carer to provide compassionate home care services to clients across various locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting individuals with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort and safety while travelling. The position involves travelling to different care settings, including care homes and private residences, to deliver personalised care plans.
Duties
- Providing personalised home care assistance in accordance with individual care plans
- Supporting clients with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, and medication reminders
- Assisting clients during travel, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Maintaining clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Using IT tools to update care records accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring the safety of clients by recognising potential hazards and acting accordingly
- Supporting clients in activities that promote independence and well-being during visits or travel
- Organising and managing schedules to ensure timely delivery of care services
Qualifications
- Proven experience in home care or similar roles within a care environment (care home experience is advantageous)
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently
- Good IT skills for updating electronic care records and communication purposes
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional standards of care
