Overview
We are seeking a positive and dynamic New and Used Car Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have lead a sales team as either an experienced business manager in a franchise dealership or currently a sales manager within a franchised dealership who possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of automotive sales processes, and excellent communication abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse inventory of vehicles, develop strategic sales initiatives, and foster lasting relationships with customers.

Duties
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and dealership targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for new and used vehicles
- Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Nissan representatives and other business links
- Conduct regular training sessions on upselling techniques, product knowledge, and CRM utilisation
- Utilise CRM software to track leads, monitor sales progress, and generate reports
- Manage stock levels in coordination with the General Manager to meet market demand
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and dealership policies
- Handle escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Organise promotional events and marketing initiatives to boost vehicle sales
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive sales / business management or a similar role within the automotive industry
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales management tools
- Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team
- Valid driving license
