We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly professional Beauty Therapist to join our team on a casual basis, providing additional support during staff holidays, sickness, busy periods and planned periods of cover.
This is a casual role with no guaranteed weekly hours, making it ideal for an experienced therapist looking for flexible additional work alongside other commitments. It could be particularly well suited to a self-employed beauty therapist looking to supplement their existing work with additional employed hours.
We are a busy, established 5-star beauty salon and pride ourselves on delivering an exceptionally high standard of treatments, customer care, cleanliness and professionalism. We are therefore looking for someone experienced who can confidently step into the salon and provide our clients with the same high-quality experience they expect from our permanent team.
About the role
Hours will be offered on an as-needed basis and may include:
- Staff holiday cover
- Sickness cover
- Additional support during busy periods, particularly Christmas
- Planned blocks of cover when required
- Occasional additional shifts throughout the year
There are no guaranteed minimum hours, and flexibility will work both ways – shifts will be offered as they become available.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Beauty Therapist, preferably qualified to Level 3 standard or equivalent
- Is experienced and confident across a wide range of beauty treatments
- Must be confident and experienced in BIAB/Builder Gel nails
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes genuine pride in the quality of their work
- Is confident working independently with clients
- Has a warm, friendly and professional manner
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Maintains extremely high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Is reliable, trustworthy and comfortable joining an established team
- Is happy to work to our salon’s treatment protocols and standards
Experience in treatments such as manicures, pedicures, BIAB, waxing (including intimate waxing), brows, lash treatments, facials and massage would be particularly beneficial.
