Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Technician. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles, meet the highest standards before delivery to our customers. The majority of the work will focus on performing mechanical inspections on vehicle, replacing tyres and other consumables such as cabin filters and wiper blades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance, with a primary focus on quality
- Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles are fully prepared and meet Car360's quality standards.
- Report vehicles that do not meet our standards in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure our systems are updated after each vehicle has been processed
- Work collaboratively with the wider workshop and preparation team to meet delivery timelines.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
- Stay updated on the latest EV technology and maintenance practices to support the company's EV specialist focus.
What We're Looking For:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Experience as a Technician, Fast Fit Technician, or similar role (EV experience preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of electric vehicles and their unique maintenance requirements is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are advantageous.
- A valid UK driving license.
