This is an exciting opportunity to join Leo's Circus C.I.C. at an important stage in our journey. Working directly with our Founder, you'll gain hands-on experience across two key areas: fundraising and organisational growth (September–December 2026), and planning and delivering our Easter holiday camps (January–February 2027).
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll build valuable skills in fundraising, project management, business development, marketing and event planning, giving you a great foundation for a career in the creative or charity sector.
You'll help with:
- Fundraising research – finding grants and funding opportunities that are a good fit for Leo's Circus, keeping track of deadlines, and helping manage our funding pipeline.
- Grant applications – helping to write funding applications, gathering evidence, collecting impact data, and preparing documents for submission.
- Growing our schools and corporate programme – helping Leo's Circus reach more schools and businesses by developing our enrichment days, wellbeing workshops and team-building experiences.
- Building partnerships – researching new schools, businesses and organisations, reaching out to potential partners, arranging meetings, and managing a pipeline of future opportunities.
- Corporate outreach – following up enquiries, keeping our contacts database up to date, and supporting the growth of our corporate workshops and events.
- Measuring our impact – collecting attendance figures, parent feedback and programme data so we're always ready to show the difference our work makes.
- Planning our Easter camps – helping organise camps across Ealing, Wandsworth, High Wycombe and Slough, including booking artists, creating schedules, preparing registers and checking equipment.
- HAF administration – making sure attendance records, eligibility checks and reports are completed correctly for each local authority.
- Parent communications – helping create and send booking confirmations, information packs, FAQs and other communications to families.
This is a fully remote role, working 25 hours per week. Throughout the placement, you'll receive one-to-one mentoring from Leo's Circus Founder, Alex Leo, giving you a unique opportunity to learn what it takes to build and grow a successful creative social enterprise.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
