Duties
- Offer one-on-one support to children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being is prioritized at all times
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging educational activities that promote learning and development
- Mentor children through daily routines, encouraging positive behavior and social interaction
- Collaborate with colleagues, teachers, and families to develop tailored support plans that meet individual needs
- Support children during outings, recreational activities, and community events to foster social inclusion
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and activities in accordance with organizational policies
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures
Experience
- Previous experience working with children or in a caregiving/support role is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate young people in educational or community settings
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children of diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protection protocols
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude to support children's individual needs effectively
Pay: £25,420.00-£37,133.24 per year
