Overview
We are seeking dedicated and proactive Production Operatives to join our small manufacturing team on an 8-week fixed-term contract to help us complete a busy production run.
Our in-house laboratories produce bespoke orders for our customers, and we need extra pairs of hands on the production line during this period. The ability to work in a busy environment while keeping a level head is essential.
This is a genuine 8-week contract with a clean end date. Strong performers may be considered for permanent work at the end of the contract if a role opens up.
Pay
Pay is £16.00/hr, paid weekly, plus 12.07% rolled-up holiday pay shown as a separate line on your payslip - that’s £17.93/hr all-in.
Duties
You will work on the production line, which may include:
- Manufacturing tasks (e.g. filling and labelling bottles)
- Quality checking
- Keeping the production area clean and tidy
Requirements
- Full training is provided. You do not need previous manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- An understanding of the importance of health and safety in laboratory environments - this includes wearing PPE that we provide (e.g. lab coats).
- Reliability and good timekeeping.
- Right to Work in the UK.
Hours
8am–4pm, Monday–Friday. On-site parking.
