You’ll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our Building Surveying offering in Cardiff, contributing to a developing team and helping to deliver high-quality projects across a diverse portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Building Surveyor who is looking to step into a more responsible and varied role.
What you’ll be part of:
Our projects span education and healthcare, public buildings and estates, residential and housing, commercial, and insurance sectors – providing variety and challenge in equal measure. You’ll focus on technical delivery while building your client relationships and supporting the wider team’s growth.
What we’re looking for:
A strong and motivated Building Surveyor with a proven track record in project delivery, who is keen to further develop their client-facing skills and contribute to business growth. If you enjoy working collaboratively, taking ownership of projects, and delivering high-quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
Main Duties:

Delivery of building surveying services with a bias towards project work

Managing projects, often coordinating our in-house multi-disciplinary design services

Supporting client relationships and contributing to repeat business opportunities

Assisting in supervising and mentoring junior members of the team

Undertaking technical reviews to maintain the quality of our services
The skills and experience you need:
-
MRICS (or working towards)
-
Consultancy experience, ideally with exposure to public sector projects

Commercial awareness with an interest in supporting business development activities

Ability to manage your own workload and deliver projects independently

Experience supporting and guiding junior team members

Strong communication and client-facing skills

Solid all-round technical building surveying knowledge

An analytical mindset, with the ability to produce clear, well-considered reports and recommendations
