Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced domestic gas engineer with commercial ability being an added benefit . A minimum of 10 years’ hands-on industry experience. You will deliver servicing, breakdowns, diagnostics, installations, and compliance work across both domestic and commercial settings.

Duties
- Carry out servicing, breakdown repairs, fault-finding, and installations across gas, LPG, oil, and commercial systems.
- Work on boilers, pipework, controls, radiators, cylinders and full heating systems.
- Support commercial plant rooms, system upgrades, and commercial gas appliances.
Compliance & Certification
- Complete Gas Safe and OFTEC-compliant servicing, safety checks and documentation.
- Deliver annual landlord certifications, commercial inspections and (if qualified) catering/mobile catering checks.
Customer Experience
- Provide honest, clear advice that reflects our values and supports the customer’s ideal long-term outcome.
- Communicate findings accurately to the office team and ensure smooth coordination of works.
- Maintain a tidy, respectful presence in customers’ homes and businesses.
Team Contribution
- Support apprentices and junior engineers, contributing to the next generation of skilled technicians.
- Uphold safety, quality and brand standards across all work environments.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years experience as a Gas Engineer.
- Domestic (CCN1) and relevant appliance qualifications.
- Experience working across varied systems and heating technologies.
- LPG, Oil or Catering qualifications desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong technical problem-solving and diagnostic ability.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications
- Commercial gas qualifications (e.g., COCN1/COCNA1).

- Ability to lift heavy equipment safely during installation or repair tasks
- Valid commercial driving license for traveling between job sites efficiently
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to gas work and compliance standards
- Experience with assembly of appliances or components is advantageous
